We are determined to make SmarTop a pre -school
that is always parents friendly.

Like last year we had IFTAR together with parents and their children, our teachers and common staff, our Usrah group and some close friends.
We had it on the 13th of Ramadhan.
We had a small crowd but enough to raise our spirit of togetherness in this endeavor to run a pre- school as best we can. Parents are an indispensible group to be reckoned with.
In strengthening our relationship, creative ideas keep coming from them.
We are happy because we believe in the philosophy
that it takes the whole village to raise a child.
We had a brief Tazkirah from a Head of a local private Islamic school. One point that is stressed over and over again is the fact that a child must learn to internalize the belief in the divine Creator, Allah most loving most merciful.
A good grounding in an indisputable belief system (aqidah) is necessary.
After the Maghrib prayer together in jemaah, we had the full iftar of "pot-luck'
dishes and we parted with the spirit of "a family", and the men went fo the Tarawih prayer at the mosque, a 5 minutes walk from SmarTop.
"Together, Yes We Can !"
