FLOTILLA........

For days I have been following the news of the raid by Israel on the FLOTILLA Aid mission. I watched CNN, BBC and AL JAZEERA and some others. Each has its own way of reporting. The people they interviewed to some extent reflect their own opinion on the this subject. This is a personal opinion as I read between the lines. This is a highly sensitive issue and which ever way you go, you are never safe from being wrongly understood.

For generations and generations since the time of Prophet Moses(AS), we are being reminded to be wary of the Jews. Let me share with you what is said in the alQuran for us to reflect and digest. May Allah guide us and protect us all the way.

"Allah did aforetime take a Covenant from the Children of Israel, and We appointed twelve Chieftains among them. And Allah said : 'I AM WITH YOU, if ye (but) establish regular prayers, pay Zakat, believe in My Messengers, Honour and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, Verily I will wipe out from you your evils, and admit you to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, Resisteth Faith, he has truly wandered from the path of recitude.' "

"But because of their breach of their Covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard: They change the words from their (right) places and forget a good part of the Message that was sent to them, nor wilt thou cease to find them - baring a few - ever bent on new deceits: But forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds) : For Allah loveth those who are kind."

Foot notes : Israel, when it lost Allah's Grace as above, began to sin against Truth and Religion in 3 ways. (1) They began to misuse Scripture itself, by either taking words out of their right meaning, or applying them to things for which they were never meant: (2) in doing so, they conveniently forgot a part of the Message and purpose of Allah: and (3) they invented new deceits to support the old ones.

Therefore, how can we trust them.
