Alhamdulillah, All Praises be to Allah the Almighty and He Alone for gracing us with this Night of Power, (of Honour). What is the Night of Power? If you read the translation of the alQuran by Abdullah Yusuf Ali it says in Chapter 97, Verse 1-5 : you will get the nearest meaning. For only Allah knows best.
"1. What We have indeed revealed, This (Message) In the Night of Power
2. And what will explain to thee, what the Night of Power is?
3. The Night of Power Is better than A thousand Months.
4. Therein come down, The Angels and The spirit, By Allah's Permission, On every errand:
5. Peace!....This, Until the rise of Morn."
This is about the Mercy of God, Allah and he bestowed it upon us in the Month of Ramadhan, the last ten days as stated in many opinions of the learned man of the hadiths. LET US NOT BE IN A HURRY to ponder upon this Message. As stated, this one Night is better than a thousand months of good deeds. Let us not be submerged in OUR WORLDLY AFFAIRS and ignore THIS GIFT THAT SURPASS THE BOUNTY OF ANY OTHER IN THIS WORLD.
For some people it may not be fashionable to be talking about religion or Spritual Peace in this current world of Beauty, Wealth, Politics and Power. Dear friends, let me confess that I was just as ignorant or as "unbelieving" as can be. But by the Grace of Allah, He showed me the way. I am now convinced that this is worth more than anything we can ever imagined possible to achieve in this world. We may not see it in physical terms but it gives us that internal feeling of Bliss. We are all on a journey to find our Almighty Creator, therefore, this is one path we all must take.Please take a second, just a second, to think of this.
If we are indeed very "busy people" and can ill afford this ten days, think again. This is only ten days out of 365 days in a year. What percentage is that of our life time?
So, let us stay focus. We may not be there next year.
